The Magic of Natural Wool

The dense felted New Zealand wool is naturally fire-resistant and absorbs the heat from your hot iron immediately. Your pressed fabric receives heat from the iron and the mat. This increases your pressing efficiency when ironing seams and hems. The result is a very crisp and flat seam or hem. No more puckering, wavy or stretched results. The fabric pieces keep their shape because a wool pressing mat holds the fabric in place better. If you want, you can even pin the pieces to the mat.

This mat comes with a handy vinyl pouch that you can reuse to store your wool pressing mat. The transparent vinyl bag closes with 2 plastic snaps.

This is definitely a great gift for a loved quilting, sewing or embroidery enthusiast!

Victoria H. ★★★★★

The extra 10.5 inches honestly makes a difference when I'm pressing quilt backing or long curtain panels — no more shifting the fabric around halfway through. The wool grips the fabric so seams lie flat with barely any steam.

Michael E. ★★★★★

I was skeptical that wool would make much difference, but the steam just sinks straight through instead of pooling on top like my old cotton mat. The 17x24 size handles a full curtain panel without me having to shift everything around halfway through.

Harper ★★★★★

The extra 10.5 inches makes a real difference when I'm pressing curtain panels — no more shifting fabric around halfway through. The wool holds heat nicely, so seams lie flat after just a few seconds with the iron.
