Every pressing surface you'll ever need, plus the iron and rest to work them. The Full Studio Pressing Set gives you all three Madam Sew wool pressing mats — the 9" × 11" mini for piecing at the machine, the 17" × 13½" standard for everyday blocks, and the 17" × 24" extra-large for long seams, borders, sashing, and backing.

Each 100% New Zealand wool mat radiates the Mini Iron's heat back through the fabric for crisp, flat results, whatever the size of your project. The silicone Mini Iron Rest gives the hot iron a safe home on whichever mat you're using. Whether you're pressing a charm square or a quilt border, you'll have exactly the right surface under it.

Five tools. Every pressing job, every size, covered.

Why You'll Love It

  • The Right Mat for Every Size of Job — Three wool mats — 9" × 11", 17" × 13½", and 17" × 24" — cover everything from small piecing at the machine to full-length seams, borders, and backing. No more forcing a big project onto a small mat.

  • A Professional Press on Every Surface — All three mats are 100% felted New Zealand wool, radiating the mini iron's heat back through the fabric for seams set crisp from both sides.

  • Press at the Machine or at the Board — Keep the mini mat by your machine for piecing and the larger mats at your pressing station for blocks and borders — a complete pressing setup across your whole studio.

  • A Safe Home for the Iron, Wherever You Press — The silicone Mini Iron Rest (heat-resistant to 482°F) moves with you from mat to mat, giving the hot iron a safe, contained place to sit.

  • Built to Last and Protect — Naturally fire-resistant wool protects your surfaces while it presses; the standard and XL mats include vinyl storage pouches.

How to Use This Bundle

  1. Choose the mat for your job: mini (9" × 11") beside the machine for piecing; standard (17" × 13½") for blocks; XL (17" × 24") for long seams, borders, and backing.

  2. Place the Mini Iron Rest alongside whichever mat you're using and heat the Mini Iron on it.

  3. Press seams and blocks on the wool mat; the dense wool sets them crisp from both sides.

  4. Rest the iron flat on the silicone rest between presses.

  5. For long seams and borders, work along the XL mat's length in sections.

  6. Air all mats after use; do not machine wash; protect surfaces beneath from steam.

  7. Store the standard and XL mats in their vinyl pouches.

Adam K. ★★★★★

I've been pressing quilt blocks on a towel for years and the difference with wool is honestly wild — seams lie so much flatter. The three sizes cover everything from small piecing to full yardage, and the iron rest keeps me from scorching my table.

Chloe ★★★★★

The mini mat is perfect for pressing seams without dragging my iron over to the big board, and having three sizes means nothing sits waiting to be pressed. Wool really holds the heat, so each seam sets fast and flat the first time.

Benjamin O. ★★★★★

I've been quilting for years and always struggled with pressing seams, but having all three wool mats in one bundle means I can keep the mini right at my machine for piecing and swap in the bigger ones for ironing blocks. The wool really grips the fabric so nothing shifts, and my seams press flatter
